Meet the talented father and son from Italy - Vasart Bonsai!

WELCOME to the EBPC - VASART BONSAI, Italy. 

This right here is the very reason I started the EBPC .. to discover the gems of  Europe's bonsai pottery talent!

In Vasart Bonsai, we have certainly found such a treasure. Please JOIN US in welcoming the highly accomplished 'father & son' team from Italy. Samuele and Giovan Battista Quarena. 

​When I saw the magnificent trio of painted pots Vasart displayed at the EBPC Trophy Pot Display in Belgium this year, I was astounded by both the intricate beauty and by the technical proficiency displayed in these inspirational works.  
From predicting the exact shrinkages for the pots to fit seamlessly into their stands, to the impressive forms, and their intricate decor, these pots tick all of the 'pot display' boxes for me. 

 We are very excited and honoured to introduce you to, and to welcome new EBPC artist members, VASART BONSAI to Europe's home of quality bonsai ceramics. 

Father Giovan Battista Quarena collects clay in the mountains, filters it, and makes it malleable and ready for processing. Together this passionate father and son team study and design the shape of the piece to be created - which are all made freehand, and without  moulds. Once formed, the pot is enamelled and Samuele Quarena decorates each piece by hand.

To celebrate their joining of the EBPC, Vasart Bonsai have been meticulously creating a wonderful limited-edition set of painted pots, all bearing the EBPC stamp. 
Locally collected and cleaned clay - expertly made forms, and stunning  paintings ranging from fun cartoon-esque to traditional landscapes, in reds, blues, or 5 colour. All pots are high-fired Stoneware, and come with a certificate of authenticity. 

This limited-edition set of  pots will be AVAILABLE for purchase IN-STORE -
on Saturday 5th April!    @ 18.00 (GMT)
