Greg Ceramics - France

Greg Delattre is an inspirational bonsai ceramist from France. His impressive pots have been highly prized amongst bonsai enthusiasts and professionals for well over a decade and were popular since he began making pots in 2009.
Having kept bonsai trees for 35 years, Greg understands the requirements of a good pot, and the complexities of creating a pot sympathetic to a tree - although he also loves to make more elaborate pots for braver trees. Previously an illustrator and graphic artist, detail of design has always been in Greg's blood, which is evident in his work.
Preferring to retain the original style he has developed over the years, Greg tries not to be influenced by the works of other bonsai potters. Greg's main inspirations instead comes from nature and from high quality ceramics outside of bonsai.
Greg Ceramics pots are made mostly by slab building, or on the potters wheel. Greg is also passionate about carving, which fans of his work delight in.
