by Patricia ‘PAS’
Patricia is truly passionate about ceramics and the Japanese aesthetic. A few years ago, she travelled to Japan to work in Shigaraki, using local materials and emulating traditional Japanese glazes and forms. In 2016, Patricia realised her dream and opened her own studio in Madrid, Spain.
Originally from Argentina, Patricia now lives in Manchester England and is a low production artist, concentrating on perfecting glazes and techniques.
Her pots are extremely well made and capture the essence of Japanese bonsai aesthetics wonderfully! Each is marked with her Japanese Stamp: はな子(はなこ), pronounced Ha na ko and which means small flower.
