Miroslav is a very talented member of the U.K. bonsai scene, specialising in Yew Bonsai and has kept trees now for over 2 decades. For some of his trees Miroslav wanted a rock planting effect and so a few years ago he began to make pots, initially just for his own trees.
As his passion for ceramics grew, Miroslav diversified, using different construction techniques to make pots of various forms. Miroslav is becoming best known however for his freestyle 'rock slab' pots, which is what he prefers to make. These pieces are all hand made using layering and other techniques, and are made from an adhesive mix and are water and frost-resistant.
